School of Biblical Studies

Come join the SBS at The King’s Lodge! It is nine months of intense study in God’s Word, the Bible, during which you will, in great detail, study all 66 books.

As you learn observational skills, and learn to interpret your observations, you will delight in applying God’s Word to your life. The King’s Lodge is a warm, community environment, where you will have ample opportunity to engage in debate about the world around you, and how the Bible relates to it. Come on, and hang out with other world-changers!

Lecture

During the nine months of the school, you will read each and every book of the Bible five times. You’ll have a broad view of the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.

You will be able to speak knowledgeably about every chapter of the Bible, explaining the historical and cultural context of each book. In the same way that many others before you have done, you will find your life transformed by God and His Word, and you’ll be hungry for so much more!

This course aims not to fill your head with facts, but to transform your life: your thinking, your character, your relationships and your ability to make an impact in this world as you interact for yourself with the Author and His living and active Word.

Outreach

We recommend our trainees to do an optional three month outreach following the successful completion of SBS 1,2 and 3, by joining theTitus Project to put their new-found skills and knowledge into practice, and to share their experiences with a world hungry for the word of God. Here is the website of Titus in Europe.
You can also apply to be on SBS staff and join a growing team of SBS graduates who’ll be exploring and developing their teaching, leadership and mentoring skills.
