Multi-Generational DTS
The Multi-Generational DTS is about encountering God together with people of all ages.
Ever wanted to be part of a family that loves and serves God and one another in a powerful way?
Ever desired to reach out to communities with the love of Jesus through the way you relate to those younger and older than yourself?
Previously at The King’s Lodge, we used to run the Crossroads DTS in April, but we have found an amazing model for missions that goes beyond the bounds of age and segregation.
The Multi-Generational DTS is all about connecting the generations – late teens, middle aged, families and older people – in order for us to be an expression of Jesus to people in the communities that we serve.
The Multi-Generational DTS, still includes 12 weeks of interactive teaching, worship, intercession, small groups and 1:1 mentoring, as well as 8 weeks of outreach.
Whether you have just come out of school looking for options as part of your gap year, or at a crossroads in your life due to changing work circumstances or looking towards retirement, we would love you to consider joining our DTS family at The King’s Lodge.
If appropriate for the group, we may have some lectures that are specific to particular age groups, but overall we believe in the power of learning from one another – having the vibrancy and energy of youth and the strength of wisdom and experience from those that have walked the road before us. We believe this provides a dynamic tool for ministry in this generation.
Although we see disunity and family breakdown as part of everyday life in our societies, we believe there is an alternative – the body of Christ that can be a powerful witness as we allow God to transform our own lives and have that overflow to others.
Come and be part of our Multi-Generational DTS family, as we learn together, through the power of Christ, to work through differences and be a shining light to those around us – whether here or abroad.
