The DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL (DTS) is 6 months of intensive discipleship and missions training. This includes 3 months of discipleship classes, balanced with 3 months of practical missions in the UK and abroad. Biblical Studies at The King’s Lodge We have a rich inheritance of Biblical Training at The King’s Lodge. The first School of Biblical Studies in Europe was pioneered here in 1985. Since then, we have run the School of Biblical Studies every year and have developed other Biblical Training courses since that time. It has been a privilege to invest in pioneering these courses in other locations in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. We love to partner with other locations and we send out several of our Biblical Studies teachers each year to teach and minister the Word of God.

Introduction to Primary Healthcare Youth With A Mission England
The Introduction to Primary Health Care School (IPHC) is a five to six month course designed to train those with or without prior medical experience to impact nations, communities, and individuals through health care. Training is geared specifically for work where there is little or no access to health care, most often the developing world.
Every 3 seconds someone in the world dies from poverty related disease – over 80% of all these diseases are preventable. The IPHC will equip you in practical skills and health care knowledge to be able to make a significant difference in people’s lives.

Principles in Child and Youth Ministries (PCYM) is a foundational school designed to equip you to understand God’s passionate heart for young people and families, and to explore biblical ways to work with and minister to them effectively.
Formal and informal input and interactive learning will be led by significant youth and children’s workers from around the world.
English for Missions

We want to see trainees released into further training and into the nations that God has placed on your heart.

YWAM (pronounced: why-wham) is a diverse, global, Christian, volunteer movement from many nations, backgrounds, ages and cultures; sharing their faith through meeting practical, spiritual and physical needs, offering training in more than 800 courses and seminars for service in all spheres of society. YWAM currently operates in over 1,000 locations and 180 countries, with over 18,000 staff.
When YWAM began in 1960, our main focus was giving young people opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus to the whole world, according to His command in Mark 16:15. Today we still focus on youth, but we have members (known as “YWAMers”)..

● To provide training that promotes growth in Godly character, skills and knowledge, resulting in the application of Biblical truth and servant-hearted ministry.
On January 1, 1984, a small group of YWAMers relocated to the Midlands after putting £1 down as a promise to purchase the property and building. With a mandate to influence the centre of England and become a centre for further YWAM missions equipping, The King’s Lodge was established.
Our historic building has been used to influence the lives of young people since its founding in 1886.
England’s role in proclaiming the gospel and the world missions movement has been profound. Tyndale and Wycliffe risked their lives by translating the Bible into English; William Carey launched the bold project to plant the gospel among Hindus in India ; CT Studd and the Cambridge 7 chose preaching the good news in China over fame and fortune; John Wesley led great revivals; CS Lewis entertains yet challenges us with his writings. The rich heritage of those who led the way over the centuries spurs us on to lead another “Great Awakening” in England and the nations.
The gospel message reached England by the end of the 2nd century through the expansion of the Roman Empire. Declared illegal until AD312 when the Roman Emperor Constantine became a Christian, Christianity became widespread in England during the 4th century.
